Emerson 30 Amp Water Heater Switch (uses DC CTA-2045 EcoPort Module)

The Emerson 30 Amp Water Heater Switch uses a DC CEA-2045 module for communications to the SkyCentrics cloud and applications, as well as to the utility Smart Grid. 

Emerson designed this switch to be very easy to install on most 30 Amp, 120 or 240 V, ELECTERIC Water Heaters.

The switches we currently have in stock require 240 V power, therefore, if you are initially testing in a lab, please make sure you use a 120 to 240 V transformer. The power rating on your transformer can be low, unless you would like to test the switch with a load such as a portable heater or hair dryer. At that point, please make sure that you transformer is rated for at least 25% more than the power of the load that you are using.
